Depending on the store’s specifics and the requirements for the type of scanned barcodes, we provide our customers with different types of barcode readers (scanners):
Datalogic Magellan 2200VS | On-counter vertical scanners – used mainly in FMCG stores, these are often multi-line laser scanner, providing high speed scanning. |
Datalogic Magellan 2300HS | On-counter horizontal scanners – with construction similar to a vertical scanner, designed to work horizontally; in the case of scales with scanners, this scanner can be built in the scales. |
Datalogic Magellan 8400 | On-counter bio-optical scanners – used mainly in FMCG stores, scan codes from many directions, so you do not need to divert goods in the direction of the scanner surface. |
Datalogic Gryphon GD4100 | Handheld manual scanners (occurring in many variants) – the most commonly used ones are single-line laser scanners and the ones based on a 2D imager. |
Motorola DS9208 | On-counter scanners with the possibility to work in manual mode – currently the most common version includes a 2D imager that enables reading of the 2D codes in both hard copy and from screens of mobile phones.. |
For each of our clients we select models of scanners that meet their requirements in the best way possible. The models presented above are the devices most commonly supplied by Forcom..
